Technically versed teacher with dedication to getting students excited about STEM. With a B.S. from Purdue University in Engineering & Technology Education, Mr. Truex has shown commitment towards extracurricular excellence. As well as having hosted summer programs such as the 'Gateway Academy', he has fostered student participation in STEM with his founding of 'FIRST Lego League', 'BEST Robotics', and 'VEX Robotics'.

Intro to Engineering,
Civil Engineering & Architecture

Committed to professional ethics in technical disciplines. Before making the move to Colorado in 2001, he acquried B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Phoenix and Grand Canyon University, respectively. Over the span of his 21 year teaching career, he has been awarded with the District 11 2016 Crystal Apple Recognition and PLTW National Master Teacher Designation.

Charmyn Neumeyer

Computer Science Essentials

Warm and caring teacher who wants all teenagers to be successful learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of students. Graduating from New Mexico State with a B.S. in Agriculture Economics and a M.S. in Agriculture and Extension Education, she moved to Colorado in 2001. Over the course of 21 years, she has gained valuable experience in the teaching industry, living by the moddo of never leaving any student behind.

Floyd Aker

Digital Electronics

Educator with diverse skillset and strong track record fostering individualized curriculum and student creativity. Originally from California, and certified in Industrial Technology with a B.S. from Southern Illinois University, he has racked in a total of 16 years teaching experience. His passion for engineering manifests across other areas of his life, as he spends a majority of his time building houses outside of school hours. Mr. Aker takes pride in his hands-off teaching style.

As he explains, "Kids make the right decisions."

Molly Bonville

Computer Science Principles,
Video Production

Instructor with a commitment to bringing out student's inner creativity. Originally having worked in the Air Force, Mrs. Bonville is well-aquainted in the disciplines of collaboration. Having received her B.S. degree from various colleges around the West, she then transitioned her teamwork mindset into the education industry, where she fosters student creativity in Computer Science and Video Production.

"There is a creator inside every student. The role of the teacher is to bring out his or her own artisic capabilities."

Ryan Johnson

Chemistry (Honors, CP, AP)

Experienced in developing curriculum designed to spark students' curiosity on larger-than-life chemistry concepts. Originally from Montana, and upon having earned degrees in Political Science and Chemistry from CU Boulder, UCCS, and South Datkota State, he has since been teaching for 5 years around CO Springs. Outside the classroom, Mr. Johnson partakes in rock climbing, triathalons, and even endulges in playing the piano.
